2. 'Fullmetal Alchemist' Alphonse Elric's helmet will be released in full size
Japan's 'Iron Factory', well known for its metal figures, has released a collaboration product for <Fullmetal Alchemist> through a license. The true identity of the collaboration item that fans of manga and anime series can recognize at a glance is a 1:1 replica of Alphonse Elric's helmet.
Alphonse Elric lost all of his body as he failed to sculpt a human body with his older brother, Edward Elric, and instead works by possessing a soul in large armor. In other words, the metal helmet is a symbol of Alphonse Elric.
The product was produced by ‘Castem Factory’, a manufacturer within Iron Factory, which is well-known for its high accuracy. Weighing around 11 kg, the helmet was made by heating stainless steel to 1700 degrees Celsius and pouring it into a 3D modeled mold. The eyes and the long hair band over the helmet are removable, and each part is delivered in a specially designed wooden box.
<Fullmetal Alchemist> Alphonse Elric's Armor Helmet can now be ordered through the Iron Factory website. The price is 165,000 yen, about 1.57 million Korean Won, and it takes about 3 months for delivery after ordering.
