ABOUT-K Knife Cutting Board Sterilizer AKUV-01 Honest Review (UVC LED Hot Air Drying)

This is an honest review of ABOUT-K company's knife cutting board sterilizer AKUV-01, which was funded by Wadiz. It is a hot air drying method through UVC LEDs. 

I received the product after funding.

I'm interested in hygiene products because of COVID-19 these days.

I thought it would be nice to sterilize cooking utensils that make food that goes into my mouth every day, wallets, mobile phones, masks, and car keys that I use every day.

I found the perfect product after looking into the cooking utensil sterilizer and general small sterilizer.

 It is not a UVA or B product with weak sterilization ability, but UVC is also a LED product.

And it's not a Chinese product, but a Korean product.  This was also a part of the purchase.

The design is neat. When looking at the material, it doesn't feel like cheap plastic, but it looks a bit pricey. It's good because it's hard and clean.

 It includes two cutting boards, but it's TPU cutting boards that many people buy these days, so I threw away the plastic-like cutting board set that I used at home right away.

One of the biggest reasons for my purchase of this product is the opening of the interior.

We couldn't find this in commercial knife cutting board sterilizers.  My friend is using a knife cutting board sterilizer from another brand, but he said he felt uncomfortable because he couldn't clean the inside.

So I saw this product and thought it was this.

It can be cleaned inside, and it's great to sterilize and dry things such as wallets, masks, and remote controls because there's an interior space when the cutting board is removed.

And mirrors inside the cover reflect UVC light so that it radiates evenly.  This is also a new idea that I haven't seen in other products. 

If you look at the back, there's a chopping board holder, so you can use it with the chopping board on the back.

It contains a spoon and chopsticks container, so knives and spoons are sterilized and hot air dried at the same time.

 In addition to tableware, you can easily sterilize a lot of items with germs, such as remote controls, masks, and mobile phones, and even dry them hot air. 

 

t is also useful enough to fit handbags used by women.

(I didn't think about sterilizing handbags, but I thought there would be a lot of germs in the bag.)

But now, About K's knife has been solved with a cooking utensil sterilizer.

I'm very satisfied with this product.  There is no noise at all when using the UV sterilization function. When using the UV sterilization + hot air drying function, I thought there would be some noise because the fan was rotating, but there is almost no noise. You can't hear well unless you listen to your ears right next to you.

 I haven't found any drawbacks yet and I'm very satisfied.
